NOT ALONE TORONTO is a nonprofit organization leading a social movement for awareness on sexual violence and rape culture in Toronto universities and colleges. NotAloneToronto was created to act as a resource and safe space for those affected and those who want to learn more. 

 

We are a team of five female university students living in the GTA, who have all experienced, or witnessed some form of sexual violence/harassment during our academic careers. Recognizing the magnitude of victims suffering in silence, we felt driven to create a community that would empower those to come forward, share their stories, and to know that they are not alone.

 

By using the hashtag #NotAloneTO on social media, you can help us spread our message and help educate people on sexual violence/harassment and its consequences. Furthermore, it allows people to share their stories, thoughts and support.
